All,
There will be plenty of work to go around, regardless of who takes
over. Curtis will still need dozens of articles a year, along with
hundreds of photos.

James,
Having read Carl's endorsement of Curtis Jacobson I am withdrawing my
"interest" in doing the newsletter. But I would be delighted to help
Curtis.

James,
I think there are quite a few people in our V8 fraternity that will
vouch for Curtis Jacobson. I met him at the 2nd V8 Meet (Annapolis
'98). He struck me as a "can do" type of person. His GT was quite
unique with a lot of personal touches & fabrication. I have
exchanged an email or two with him. For those that frequent the MG
Enthusiasts BBS, he is "Curtis, CO as he has moved from North
Carolina to Colorado. I think the newsletter & the website will be
in good hands.
Thanks to you for your service to our V8 Newsletter AND our Country!

Subject: New Newsletter Editor???
As many of you know, I don't have as much time as I thought I would
when I took over the newsletter. A fellow by the name of Curtis
Jacobson has offered to take over, however I know nothing about
him, other than he is very eager and seems to want to turn the
newsletter and website into a money maker (funny, I recall saying
that too.....). He also redesigned the web site (did a great job)
and as soon as we can get the current web master to help with the
transition, you should see the fruits of his labor. Anyhow, I
wanted to see what people thought about it. I know that a few
years back that a guy that was supposed to take over from Kurt
(before Dan Masters) took off with the mailing list and over
$1000.00 and disappeared. I see no reason why that would happen
with this fellow, but I'd like thoughts on how to do a smooth
transition with minimal risk to you guys. Can anybody vouch for
this fellow? Any suggestions?
James J.
