CR, No, it had no sleeve and they measured the seals and they were oversize seals of rather dubious shape. Actually I did not malign them I just told how it was - It leaked, it was bored oversize and had oversize seals fitted. And Lazar of Apple said they do do that ! I also put out a message saying how responsive they were - I give credit where is due, and debit when that is due !! I am now fitting a new unit and will eBay the unit that Apple will redo for free By the bye. Apple's web page says they re-sleeve for $125 (which I paid) and it is not quite clear about the quick rebore and oversize seals. So I paid for resleeve and got bored a point that would have gone unnoticed if it had not leaked At 12:52 PM 2/9/2005, Charles & Peggy Robinson wrote: Barrie,Regards Barrie Barrie Robinson (705) 721-9060 /// /// mgb-v8@autox.team.net mailing list /// Send admin requests to majordomo@autox.team.net /// Send list postings to mgb-v8@autox.team.net /// Edit your replies!
