I use the Howe HTOB in my V8. I know they make it for the 4speed T10, I
don't know about any other trans. I have 24k miles, in about 3 years, on
the car now and have not had it leak once. I made it leak once because when
the clutch was over extended the fittings hit the pressure plate and ground
a hole in the back of the fitting. A change to 45deg fittings solved that.
The howe is sealed with o-rings if you over extend the bearing, the o-rings
become exposed and all the fluid rushes out. If the pressure plate pushes
the bearing back closed then it will likely cut the o-ring. I don't know
how the weber works but I love the Howe bearing.

Tom, I have the same problem with my Weber HTOB (three times). What bearing
are you using?
