Brake light switch

The MGB brake light switch ('68 and on) is mighty expensive at US$25 and I 
though a generic one would fit.  All it takes is a push button microswitch 
with 3/8 thread at 24 pitch.  Surely someone has come across a more 
reasonably priced alternative??
