Hi Al
I have a converted 74 1/2 MGB V8 with a Ford Falcon Radiator and a 16"
puller cooling fan.
I also moved the radiator mounts forward as you have. I didn't have to cut
anything away off the body where the old oil cooler was mounted. I believe I
have some measurements somewhere with regards to clearances. If you need
more info, don't hesitate to contact me. I will take a look and see if any
of the pictures of my car include the area in question
