The hubs can be switched between axles but depending on which way you go you
can get the tyres rubbing on the inside or the outside of the arches because
the wheel offsets are different. To counteract this the wire and steel
wheel axles are slightly different lengths, as are the handbrake cables, so
if you want to change the style of wheel you are better off changing the
complete axle and handbrake cable. At the front you just switch the hubs.
There is also a difference between GT and roadster in that the GT has bigger
slave cylinders to cope with the extra weight, these have different locating
lugs to the roadster so the backplate is different as well. If swapping
between GT and roadster, therefore, you should keep the backplate and slave
cylinders with the car if you are not to get locking up on the roadster and
insufficient braking on the GT.
