I already have a 10mm X 1.0 adapter for my brembo's and it fits perfectly.
I even took the old male fittings to a thread gauge. 1.0mm thread fits
exactly. I've tried 28 ,27 , 26 and 24 TPI gauges. The 26 was the only
that fit almost as nice as the 1.0, but I know of nothing that takes a 26
TPI thread. British pipe is 28, and Whitworth doesn't come close, unless my
sources are incorrect.
My only conclusion is that it is a 10mm X 1.0mm bubble flare.
I have to go to AN due to the difference in fittings I have. The wilwood
calipers have 1/8" pipe thread and the Brembo's have a metric flare. AN is
the only thing I can get in common with everything. There will be nothing
left of the standard brakes after i'm finished.
Barry: I already have a nice Rigid AN flaring tool, and stainless in small
sizes is easy to bend with a bending tool. The fuel line will be replaced
and a return line will be run in stainless as well. I could have gone with
regular bundy tubing, but what the heck. I luv stainless. :)
Oh well off to autozone, looks like a Mustang 5.0 MC may do the job. Keep
your fingers crossed.
