Hi All
I would like share some info I picked up from the show with you.
I was asked if any one had a suspension kit that would let you fit RV8
manifolds.
Apart form fitting new arms no. But this kit is made by Moss and they were
not there.
New please for bits is Front Line. They now own Costello and are building a
5L BV8.
There midget with a Rover 1.8L K power will do 0-60 in about 4.5 and is not
met to be mush slower than a Lotus Ilan.
I had a log take with NGK spark plugs. They were saying that what is best
for performances is a low voltage spark (about 10KV). I normal plug will
take about 15/20KV to spark. When a spark plug gets old the voltage needed
to make it spark go's up (25/30KV) at this point the performances go's down.
If this is right then all the ultra high voltage stuff out there is of no
use!
Shock absorbers help us go in a line and not round a corner!
We were told but the editor of Car & Car Conversion, that he drove a car
with no dampers on at all. He almost did not make it to the first corner,
but as soon at the car was leaning round the corner that you could not feel
that there were no dampers. (Some thing to think about).
