TR7/8 Brakes on an MGB?

Hmm, I sent this yesterday but didn't see it arrive at the list, I'll try again.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I think I read in the V8 newsletter that the TR7/8 calipers fit on the MGB with
just a small modification to the back plate.  True?  Anyone know which
newsletter issue?

Do the TR7/8 brake pads fit in a standard MGB caliper?

Which pad has more friction material surface.  Standard MGB, MGB V8, or TR7/8?
