Paul,
The wheels are aftermarket wheels, and were designed
to fit about any modern front wheel drive car. If you
poke around www.tirerack.com, you'll see a wide
selection. Most FWD's have a 4x4.5 pattern which is
the same as the B. The offset was a little off. I
believe the offset for the wheels I purchased was 28
mm. Stock rostyles were around 20 I believe. I
didn't have any problems with rubbing. You could put
in spacers, but then you'd have to make the studs
longer. If I had to do it again, I'd pay the little
extra and get the 15 inch wheels. The 14" wheels are
very very close to the balljoints. They don't hit or
rub, but it was close. If you search for 1990 Honda
Accord wheels, you can see what I purchased, they were
Borbet Type H.
They went on fine, but the center cap does not fit on
the back wheels, as the hub retaining nut putrudes
through the center hole.
Hope this helps, although you should of course verify
bolt pattern and offset with Tire Rack prior to
purchasing, in case my memory is wrong. They will
provide data on the wheels they stock, but not provide
fit recomendations for an MG.
Glenn
ps. Since several have asked, I'm also copying this
to the list.
