Glenn-
Congrats on getting it running! A real blast, isn't it?
Don't wait too long for those tires. Since you are geared pretty low, you might
consider 15" wheels with 70 profile tires- get to the biggest tire diameter you
can. This will help lower you cruising rpm's.
About your hard starting- my first thought was heat soak, a common V8 conversion
problem. Having re-read your e-mail, I am more suspicious of the condition of
your battery & charging system. The RV8 headers should eliminate the heat soak
problem.
If it is turning over but not starting, you may have a weak coil that is failing
when it gets hot, ok when cold. Where is your timing? Try backing it off to 4-5`
instead of 8-10`, this will aid starting.
Keep us up to date-
