4/4/99 Question to both groups. What is the maximum bore size that can be safely used in a Rover 3.9 (241 CI) block. Specifically, can it go to + .036" to take Chevy 305 pistons (3.736 Bore)? Apparently these sleeves are thinner than in Rover 3.5 or Buick/Olds F-85 blocks, but how much thinner? I hope someone can answer this. Cheers, Dave Kernberger |
