So here is what the guys with better memories sent me, & I have
re-forwarded, with my own comment.

Somehow, we need an index or something, or a way to file really good
info like this. I am computer challanged, re-boot by turning the
Etch-o-Sketch upside down & shaking, so I am no help.  How about ideas
from the smarter ones?

Hope this  helps. I have not done a conversion. My solution was to buy a
cheap VDO tach from Summit Racing & stuff it in the old case. Cost was
$29.95 a few years ago, think it is now up to $43.95. Part # VD)-333901,
black to 8,000 rpm.
