Scott,
I've been through that same agonizing decision over the last 6 months
myself, and finally ordered the lowered springs from Moss. You'll hear all
kinds of reasons not to do it, but I understand that if you reset the
toe-in correctly after putting on the lowered springs, that takes care of
the steering / suspension geometry. I also cut about 1" off the rubber
stops, although I really don't think that will be an issue because the
shorter springs are stiffer. Then all you have to put up with is a harsher
ride.
We've got the new springs on the car now, but haven't taken it for a ride -
still have to rebuild the engine compartment and installe the engine - so
it will be some time.
Hope this helps.
Safety Faster,
Rick
