Still getting ready for the Rallye to Reno. The MG TD has brakes now, a
bunch of fuses and relays, boiled out radiator, halogen headlights, a
trailer hitch (thanks to the UK lister for the drawing), a transistorized SU
fuel pump (thanks Dave Dubois), a transistorized voltage regulator (thanks,
Wilton Electric), rebuilt wiper motor (thanks Lawrie Rhoads),and dynamo, and
directional signals. Yesterday, the new motor went in with its Brown &
Gammons flywheel and rear seal, Cortina clutch, and Manley Ford roller throw
out bearing. Hope to finish motor assembly this Friday and fire it up to be
sure the pushrods are rotating as they are supposed to. Got 2 weeks until
test day and about a month before launch day. HooHa!
