An oil-filter strap wrench is one way, or the rubber-strap equivalent
wrench, but avoid sticking a screwdriver into the fins of the fan as that's a
sure way to break the cast finned fans that are sometimes seen, and will
probably bend the steel fins also.Bob

Subject: [Mg-t] Generator pulley nut

What is the correct way to keep the armature on the generator "locked" when
trying to remove the pulley nut?
I want to be able to swap the pulley and fan to a spare gennie.
Thanks in advance.
