Many thanks to all for the feedback I got today about what apparently is a
broken axle in my TD.
Next question would be: Technically speaking (not considering the costs)
should I replace just the broken half axle or replace both sides at the same
time? I am thinking that if one half experiences such torque/stress to cause
it to snap, then the other half probably experienced some of the same
forces.
