Looking at the Burlen site:
http://www.burlen.co.uk/vehiclelist-searchengine.aspx
only the TD "competition" (which I assume is the MKII) and the Triumph
1500 used the AUC 578 carbs - TFs used AUC 728
Cheers

Subject: [Mg-t] 51 mg td mark II
any one have any idea on how to tighten the lower oil bypass line (flat
two
sides) banjo bolt.... i cannot get an adjustable wrench in there
there's
simply no room with the oil lines and such and a socket wont fit..
also, i have an MG (TD??) intake manifold and air cleaner in which the
manifold is a cast aluminum slightly a rougher look, unlike the shinny
smooth
look on my TD etc.. the black air cleaner part is the same...
lastly does anyone have a set of 1-1/2" Mark II carbs (or know what else
they
were fitted to) as I have the wrong set on my car..also looking for the
larger
diameter Mark II air cleaner and proper manifold.
Thanks for the input as always.
Rocky
