Check the tack holes at the rear.
If the upholstery is original and the hood is original, then only one
set of tack holes holding on the hood should show.
Carefully remove a few of the tacks at a rear corner of the hood. Check
to see if the only holes are the ones for the tacks you have removed. If
there are no other holes, then the hood is the original one fitted to
the car.
