Can anyone give me a rundown on the proper procedure for starting a TD.
When choking, should the accelerator be depressed also, or not? There are
two locking
setting on my choke cable. Which should I try first. Do you pushh the
starter cable back in after the engine is cranked, or does that kill the
ignition?

My starting drill is to pull the choke out, then pull on the starter knob,
if it doesn't fire after a few seconds rabit pump the accelerator and it
will start to fire. As soon as it fires release the starter knob.
Sometimes it will die and you pull it again.
