A TD with stock 5.125 rear axle ratio requires about 4150 RPM for 60
MPH.  However, most modern tires are smaller than originally supplied. 
So something faster than 4150 RPM may be needed for 60 MPH.  "Road &
Track" says that the speed is 14.4 MPH per 1000 RPM in fourth gear for
their 1950's road test.
