Gene,
Thanks for asking.
Below is the long, and admittedly canned, response about TD
Armstrong shocks. We would do best to have your front ones in stock, but
for the rears, I'll need you to identify which of the possibilities you
have. The best way is by part number stamped under one of the mounting
ears. You shouldn't have to remove anything but accumulated dirt to see
the number, and it will correspond to the catalog numbers you'll see on
our web page.
Feel free to call me with any questions.

Thanks for contacting us. Below is the information on rebuilding
your TD shocks.
Armstrong alloy bodied shocks.
Front price: $97.70 each
Rear price: There are 2 distinct types of rears. The numbers
below can usually be found stamped on the underside of one of the
mounting ears.
Number 4645 /L or /R. The valve body is parallel to,
and runs between, the 2 larger piston bore casting shapes. It has 2
small plugs in the valve body that need to be replaced as they are prone
to leaking, if they are still in place at all.
Price for 4645/L or R is $86.30 each.
Number 5698 /L or /R. The valve body is perpendicular
to the piston bore casting and runs along the bottom of the shock. These
are less problematic than 4645's and are similar to other MG shocks used
later on.
Price for 5698/L or R is $55.15 each.
All of the above shocks require that you send yours to us first
as cores are hard to come by. Turn around time on the Armstrongs is 2-3
days in house.
The above prices are in US Dollars and exclude shipping charges.
