The best place to have them reconditioned is World Wide Auto Parts of 
Madison  at http://www.mailbag.com/users/nosimport/
Talk to Peter Caldwell about the dampers as he is the one in charge of 
that operation.  He should also be abel to tell you the significance of 
the R on the cases.
