Spark Plug Wire Length

I'm wondering if someone could tell me what the lengths of new spark plug wire
should be cut to for a TD.  I have just purchased a new set from Moss, but it
came as a single length of wire and there is no room for waste.  My existing
wires are from a chevy I think and appear much longer than the Moss kit
allows.
