On page 44 of the T Series Handbook, it states that at car # "TD 12285 
(Dec 10 1951 the wheel studs and nuts and all threaded fittings in the 
driveshaft and rear axle were changed from British Standard Fine (BSF) 
to Unified (UNF or SAE) threads."  From this, it would appear that this 
change is not a Moss Motors inspired change.
