I believe you may mean Paul Johnson. He would hop in the TD and drive
cross-country like he was going to the neighborhood drug store. In his
memory, GOF Central awards a group driving distance award for the state
or club who accumulates the most mileage on the way to a GOF Central.
It's known as the "Paul Johnson" award.
