Yes, Blake, you are right:
You may replace "Reply to Sender" as the default
in any message you send to the list, simply by prescribing
"MG-T@Autox.Team.Net" as the "Reply-To" address.
Normally, the default imposed by Autox.Team.Net requires
anyone kind enough to share his reply with all of us either to press
"Reply-to-All," or to paste the list's address manually into the
address field in one's reply window.
Anyone who is thoughtful enough to share with all of us
by pressing "Reply To All" instead of "Reply To" encumbers himself
with the nuisance of clearing from the address field of his reply
all of the addresses in the Courtesy Copy line of the original,
most of which are usually redundant, or may include lists
to which the respondent is not a registrant--which means that
such a reply may trigger stern warnings against trying to intrude
on a group at which one has not gained admission or approval.
If you place "MG-T@Autox.Team.Net" in the "Reply To" field in
your Netscape Messenger's Message Identity Preferences before opening
a message window intended for this MG-T list, Blake, then anyone
who simply presses "Reply" on such a message will find his reply
pre-addressed not to you, but rather to "MG-T@Autox.Team.Net."
To accomplish that, do this (but only for messages to this list):
In Netscape Messenger's "Edit" menu, choose "Preferences."
The popup Preferences window will provide in its list
of choices "Mail & Newsgroups," a sub-section of which is
"Identity."
Choosing that preference item displays several fields,
two of which are "Email Address" and "Reply To Address."
If you place several addresses separated by commas in the
"Reply-To" field, Blake, the recipient of your message will have in
his hands a reply window pre-addressed to every one of them as a
consequence of his having simply pressed "Reply."
That would help you if you actually want to encourage
one who replies to a particular message of yours to share it
with several other lists (e.g., MGAtwinCam@YahooGroups.com,
MG-MMM@ Autox.Team.Net, MGs@Autox.Team.Net, or MG-TABC@YahooGroups.com)
while he's at it--although that might amount to a nuisance to some.
As, I fear, my prolixity may prove to be.
