I put a strip of closed cell foam rubber across the header. The type I used had a glue backing. As that has somewhat deteriated, I am now going to take the plunge and remove the top and bow cover from the header rail. The foam will be placed directly on the header rail, with the bow cover and top then installed. I will also seal the bow cover and top seams with Household "Goop."
