So, Stu;  measure EACH "flat" of rocker arm to adjunct "top" of said
rocker??

Doubt it.  Remeber, each is a "loosely" cast part having a "machined" face.

More than enough variables available.

USE a feeler and follow the KISS Rule.

Dial Indicator setup??  You going NASCAR racing at Daytona??
