Hi All, I want to thank everyone who provided the suggestion to use a grease gun on my 'frozen' front wheel cylinders. Indeed, the old fluid was crystallized inside. It took about 1 1/4 hours to drill and tap an old fitting for a zirk fitting, and about 8 minutes to 'plop' out all 4 cylinders (after 2 weeks of soaking in this-that-or the other!). I love these 'tricks of the trade' - I guess you need to be around for awhile to pick up most of them. Thanx again. Bud |
