Attached is part of a thread from another mailing list. Besides bikers, some of
us LBC (Little British Car, or Little Bity Car) drivers have encountered this
type of confrontation from BMV (Big Monstrous Vehicle) drivers.

Buy a big strong magnet (like a speaker magnet), some grey "play-doh"
or plasticscene, take a circuit board out of something small like a
digital watch, take two coiled wires, one red, one black, an LED and a
9V battery. Put it all together in your best "time bomb" imitation -
bonus points if you can get the LED to blink.
When idiot cager deserves it.. ride up beside them on the drivers side
and as you pass them, reach out and stick your "device" on their
hood - right in front of their windsheild - hopefully with the
blinking LED facing them.
Accelerate away from the now skidding/sliding cage that just locked'em
up.
Quick.. rush home and flick on the local news and watch the helicopter
coverage of the bomb disposal crew removing play-doh from the hood of
some idiot cager's car.
... you gotta admit, it's a fun thought - but you didn't hear me say
it ;-)
