WKF Wood lists in his book four different cams available from MG: Early TD, late TD, AEG122 (semi race), and 168551 (full race). Except for highly tuned engines, he recommended the late TD camshaft used in engines TD2/24116 and later: intake opens 5 degrees BTDC intake closes 45 degrees ABDC exhaust opens 45 degrees BBDC exhaust closes 5 degrees ATDC duration of 230 degrees lift: 8.3mm tappet setting hot: 0.012 in. |
