Does anyone know the proper torque for the bolts attaching the bellhousing to the transmission? How about the bellhousing to the engine block? Probably the same. The workshop manual doesn't say. What type of lubricant is everyone using? It looks as if 80-90w hypoid gear oil would be okay, but I don't know if it is compatible with the materials used in the synchros and bearings. Does anyone use Redline MTL? Thanks. Kevin Brown '54 MGTF 1500 RHD, '64 MGB, 71 MGB V8 Odessa, MO |
