Dennis, The 'vertical drive oil seal conversion housing' is a direct replacement for the original 'felt seal and felt seal retainer' which sits in the 'vertical drive oil drain gallery'. The second oils seal fits into the base of the 'vertical drive oil drain gallery', the base of the gallery has to be machined to take this lip seal. This seal replaces the oil scroll on vertical drive fork. I hope this explains what you want to know. Peter Green. ----- Original Message ----- From: <DENKLEMM@aol.com> To: <mg-mmm@autox.team.net> Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2005 8:16 PM Subject: MMM - Vertical Drive Oil Gallery Hi All /// unsubscribe/change address requests to majordomo@autox.team.net or try /// http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// http://www.team.net/mailman/listinfo /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive/mg-mmm /// Send list postings to mg-mmm@autox.team.net |
