I have moulds and made repro covers and bases for the CJR2 unit. I needed a
CJR2 for my J2, J-3017, and refused to pay the silly money asked for a used
original CJR2. Paying more for the fuse/cutout than the original car price
just didn't work for me. I used black fibreglass. Even the Lucas logo is
evident in the repros. So it is possible.

Can't someone make a cover that is a exact repro out of modern material?
They did so with the generator cover.
