I might suggest, you research some other interspring materials as
Teflon will flow in to long term. Pete Thelander found a sheet
material of moly disulfide the had good compressive qualities and was
not too expensive for his NE Racing car. Might investigate that.

Pip,
I assume by the dimensions you quote you are wanting to use the Teflon
as an
interlayer between spring leaves. Therefore, you want a thin sheet of
Teflon.
I find the many plastics companies in the US have it or can get it. You
might try such companies in your area. I also did a quick search on the
Internet for Teflon sheet in Australia. The most promising one I came
up
with is: http://www.dotmar.com.au/index.htm
I hope this helps.
BTW, if you know of a source for spring steel that is 1.25 inches in
width
(suitable for making new Triple-M spring leaves), let me know. None of
the
spring companies here seem to have anything that narrow.

I see various comments about Teflon seals.
This may assist me in my search for sheets of Teflon that I can cut
strips
1.25" wide from.
Can any one put me in touch with a supplier of Teflon sheets, please.
Many thanks
