Bob,
The offside (rightmost) pipe is the reserve. The nearside (leftmost) is the
main feed. See the attached diagram.
Cheers,

Subject: RE: PA Bucket seats
My J2 measures 33" between the wheel wells. The bench rear seat is also 33"
or a tad less, therefore the bench will go between the wheel wells and allow
a great deal of leg room. Between the wheel well and tunnel is 14" so you
need a very narrow bucket if it is to go between the wheel well and tunnel
in order to give maximum leg length.
My PA-0531 has bucket seats but they sit in front of the wheel well because
they are about 16" wide. Very poor seating and not enough leg or arm room.
I have Bugeye Sprite seats in my race TC, again they fit in front of the
wheel well and would certainly never fit a PA without major surgury.
Change of subject, I am installing a new gas tank on the PA. Anybody know
which fuel outlet in the tank sould be the extended length "regular" use
fitting? And which should be the low reserve fitting? I don't want to have
to swap pipes around after the tank is installed.
Thanks.

An interesting subject, as I was planning to convert my PA to bucket
seats. I happen to have a pair from a Bugeye Sprite (not exactly a big
car!) so I thought I'd see if they fit. The seat bottom reaches from the
outside frame rail to a point about two-thirds of the way across the
driveshaft tunnel! In order to make the seats fit the PA, I'd have to
narrow them by several inches.
Which raises the question, how would I narrow my (not overly large) rear
end to fit the narrowed seats, as I fit into a Bugeye quite nicely? Are
the bucket seats currently available from MMM suppliers in England that
much narrower? And are they comfortable for people of average
proportions? Or is there something here that I'm missing?
