I agree. As long as one doesn't do something that cannot be reversed, all
should be fine. After all, we don't want a couple of "garage queens" that
can't be driven.

Cheers,
Lew

Hi Lew,

I am also thinking to chop the steering column of my PB Airline.
I am thinking to buy second-hand Bishop Cam steering column, and cut it,
say 2 inches. It will not be an original, but necesary mod, won't it?

Cheers,
Hiro

Don,

I will be facing the same issue with my PB Airline when it is eventually
finished. On that the steering column projects an unbelievable distance
into the passenger compartment. There is close to 12 inches between the
dash and the steering wheel. I am considering using a non-MMM steering
box such as the VW and chopping the steering column to a more suitable
length.

Cheers,
Lew Palmer
