I have an engineering challenge for some of you.

You all are well aware of the interior size of MMM cars. My PA seems to be
designed for drivers of much smaller size than I. At 6'4" and 270 lb. I am
facing the dilemma of fit and comfort.

By enlarging the "arch" of the back rest, I can slide it further back along
the prop shaft cover and pick up valuable leg room. However, the steering wheel
still presents a formidable egress challenge for a guy of my girth. While
opening myself up to lots of advice about the new Adkins diet etc.,

I'm considering a quick release wheel seen in all the current race cars. I
also want not to disturb/distroy my very original 3 spoke wheel. I'm looking at
the quick release lever/nuts found on the front axles of many of the current
bicycles, as a replacement for the normal fixing bolt. However, if it will
unloosen quickly, I'd also like a safety mechanism of some sort to ensure it
doesn't decide to "quick release" in the middle of a hairpin curve! How
embarrassing!

Anyone ever build such an item or see a solution for me?

Thanks
Don B.

No fat jokes please... I'm just "big boned."
