Geoff,
I obtained an alloy adaptor disk from Peter Green. This fits snugly into
the bottom of the original Tecalemit filter body and has a 'O' ring on a
spigot at its base to help seal it.It takes a disposable paper filter
cartridge.
The cartridge I use is made by Cooper filters and the part type is G644 - it
IS used in Merc engines!
My most recent one was bought from Halfords, and the box also has a code 954
701, which may (or may not) be a Halfords code. Retail price a year ago was
#5.49
Hope this helps
regards
