GoF West 2003 - July 21-25, 2003 - Queen Mary - Long
Beach, California
Hosted by The Vintage MG Club of Southern California
We have made arrangements for special rates on rooms on the Queen.
There will be tours, concours, secured parking for our funny little
cars, visits to automobile museums, interesting places to eat, things
for the ladies to do while their spouses are fiddling bolts, trading
greasy old parts at the Parts Exchange, and talking shop; and of course
Disneyland and Universal Studios for the kids in all of us. Within
walking distance, you will find the World Class Long Beach Aquarium of
the Pacific, along with Seaport Village for shopping and dining. Catch
the Ferry to Santa Catalina Island and a walk on the boardwalk for a
trip back in the past.
I am reminding all of the MMM Register members and friends that they
need to get their reservations in REAL soon as the registration prices
go up AND the Queen Mary accomodations will be gone. There are plenty
of hotels near by but the fun starts and ends on the 'Queen'....... We
are trying to beat the last GOF on the Queen Mary, when nearly 300 cars
showed up..
Go to the GoF West 2003 Web Site: gofwest.com for more information
on things happening during the five days....
Call the Queen Mary at: (800) 437-2934 for reservations
Don't forget, you can stay a few more days and tour the area, taking in
the beaches, mountains, Hollywood, the San Diego Zoo and Seaworld,
along with Malls every coupl;e of miles, if the wife feels you have
neglected her.
Contact Jerry Austin @ (714) 220-2633 or jdaustinmg@cyberhotline.com
or Jerry Felper @ (714) 630-1074 or felperg@earthlink.net ...... if
all else fails, see the Club website: www.vintagemg.com
We look forward to seeing you there,
