Jack,

Save the original brass ends and take the rest to a company like W.S.
Nott (we have them here in Minnesota). They can replace the hose with a
stainless braided covering and Teflon inside. The couplings are crimped
on with a simple brass sleeve.

Does anyone know of a source for the flexible "petro flex" lines that
were
used between float bowls and from the fuel pump to the rear float bowl
on a
N type? Were these originally rubber or did they have a metal jacket
like
the modern ones sold by Moss, etc? I still have the original brass
fittings
for the lines but I'm not sure of the correct material to use or how the
lines were crimped to the fittings. Anyone have an original laying
round? -Jack Simpson
