 HAd the car been on the salt, there would no doubt have been some 
muddied shorts but not likely any car damage.   This is the kind of 
thing I was generally inquiring about. High speeds on a narrow pavement 
with maintenance ok for slower speeds but not high speed.    Glad he was 
safe...
