1) How long without fuel before the prize motor becomes a collection of
offerings to the gods of speed?

I'm sure the answer must be "not very long" - some guess would be
appreciated after you make fun of me.

If it is three axis, I would be concerned about bumps. Pulling off the
course could leave you stranded between the course and the return road.
I hope that BNI/SCTA will be prepared for that...
I also hope everyone has it also turn off the ignition so the salt isn't
covered with burned pistons and funny looking con rods.
