I'm not sure which Curtiss bike that is--last time I was at the Curtiss
museum in NY State ( ~15 miles west of Watkins Glen) they had his V8 bike
that he rode at Daytona Beach (108 mph in 1905 ? don't remember exactly). It
was a narrow angle OHV V8 with the rocker arms, pushrods, valves & springs
completely exposed.
Probably gave him an oily crotch and trailed smoke when he rode it.
