By installing a quality shift kit you will quicken and  firm up your shifts, 
it will also help to reduce heat buildup and extend  auto trans life.  I 
personally like TransGo kits and have much success with  them.    I once 
installed 
a TCI shift kit in a 92 Explorer and to  my suprise upon opening the package 
all of the instructions were from  TransGo.  Guess this explains who actually 
made the TCI kit.   LOL
