If I found a bad connection at a WeatherPack connector, I would buy the correct 
tools
and replace them all very, very carefully . The pits at Bonneville is the worst 
place on
earth (dry land anyway) to shoot an electrical bug. If it's done right the 
first time, it works!
I always use Silicon Dielectric Grease from Ford parts on connectors. Nice big 
tube
for 10-12 bucks.
