This much I can say for certain. I have worked at a few nuke plants as a tig welder and when they go from carbon steel to stainless steel all I have used and seen used was 309 stainless. If that will suit the weld engineers and the inspectors at a nuke plant it will suit me on a hot rod. Larry Mac |
