Thanks, Doug. There is a lot of information on fasteners out there but
finding it isn't always easy. Ditto for separating the reliable info from
the misinformed or simply BS.
Choosing the right fastener and applying it properly is important in any
type of racing so it pays to read up on the subject.

Neil, I'm glad to see it when someone that does know what he is talking
about takes the time to inform the rest of us. One of our sponsors is
Coast Nut & Bolt. So I just call Dick and tell him what I'm doing and he
brings me the right stuff. I took him to a Gold Coast Roadsters club
meeting last year and he gave a talk about fasteners. By the look on
the guys faces and the questions they asked I could tell that most
really did not know that much about the subject. Thanks again for the
