I realize that your layout retains the center section. Not all long course cars
run the full five miles. How would you inform a long course car that turns
short that there is a short course car at his 6:00?

Hi Dan
The 4 courses are not next to each other. The normal center area with
emergency vehicles and Glens posh trailer are the same. There is a short course
and long on the left side and a long and short on the right side.
That makes it easy and safe to get to the car with problems on the long
course or the short course for that matter.
